You can search for entries using the search field in the top right corner of the dataset window. It is possible to search for text elements or numbers in variables of type text, category (multiple), unique, number without decimals, and statuses.
- Type the word or number you are looking for. The table below describes in detail how the search function works.
- The dataset will automatically adjust and only show entries containing your search phrase.

- The search function is limited to the first 20 variables (columns). Change the variable order to search in the variable of interest if it is not part of the first 20 variables.
- Use the Filter function in advance of searching.
- Check for any active filters that might exclude what you are searching for.
