You can add and remove filters in the Dataset window to only show a part of your dataset. The filter function in the Dataset window corresponds with filters in the Analysis window.
Add a filter
Using the "Show filters" toggle button
Activate the "Show filters" toggle button.
Click on "+ Add new filter".
Choose from the dropdown menu which of your variables you would like to filter on.
Using the filter icon
Click the filter icon in the column header beside the variable you would like to filter on (becomes available when hovering over the column header)
A dropdown menu will appear where you can choose how you want to filter the data.
How to set a filter:
For categorical variables, click on the values you want to filter.
For numerical and date values, you enter the range or value you want to filter on.
For text variables, enter the value you want to filter on
You can combine as many filters as you want. A green filter icon marks that a column is filtered. If an aggregation rule has been set for a series, this variable will also be available for filtering.
NB: Even if the filters tab isn’t visible, filters may be applied. If you are missing any data, check for unintentional filtering by activating the "Show Filters" toggle.

Activate the "Show Filters" toggle button to view your filters.
Click on the arrow on the left side of the filter card to open the filter.
Make your changes. Your dataset is automatically updated.

Click on the green filter icon
Make your changes. Your dataset is automatically updated.
Remove a filter
Using the "Show filters" toggle button
Activate the "Show Filters" toggle button to view your filters.
Click the trashcan icon on the right side of the filter card (appears when hovering over the card). The dataset is automatically updated.
Using the filter icon
Click on the green filter icon
Click on the trashcan icon in the top right corner of the filter card (appears when hovering over the top of the filter card). The dataset is automatically updated.
To remove all filters, click the "Clear filters" button at the top right corner of the screen.
