Plot Numeric Variables enables you to present your numeric data graphically as columns (mean and median), box plots, and scatter plots.
From the analysis window, click "+ New analysis" and select "Plot Numeric Variables" from the dropdown menu.
Select the data model in the "Parameters" card on the right side. Select the series of interest from the dropdown menu if you choose to analyse series data.
Choose from the dropdown menu beneath "Group variable 1" which variable (categorical or numeric without decimals) you want to group by. When using "Single series" as the data model, grouping variables can be chosen from the main or series levels and can be categorical, numeric (without decimals), or unique.
Choose from the dropdown menu beneath "Numeric variable" which numerical variable you want to display across the category.
Choose from the dropdown menu beneath "Plot" if you want the plot to be based on median or mean values, with or without range, SD, or 95% CI.
If you want to stratify your plot between more groups, you can choose another grouping variable from the dropdown menu beneath "Group variable 2".
You can choose to display the results as columns, box plots, or scatter plots from the tabs in the "Chart type" card at the top of the right margin. Note that different parameters are available for different plots in the parameter card.
Open the "Formatting" card on the right side to choose whether to use category values or labels or whether to display chart legends on your figure.
You can apply filters to the dataset to analyse subgroups (optional).
