Filter variables
You can filter the variables so that only the selection of variables you want to see is displayed in the dataset window. 
  1. Click on the Settings wheel on the right side of the Dataset window
  2. Select which variables, groups, or sets you want to be displayed from the "Column settings" card

Search variables
  1. Click on the Settings wheel on the right side of the Dataset window
  2. Type in the name of the variable you are looking for in the search field on the top of the "Column settings" card
