1. Click the "+ New project" button in the Dashboard window.
2. Fill in the required fields. You must name your project. Project description, number, and end date are optional. 
3. Click "Continue"

1. To create a project, you have 4 alternatives:
   1. "Manually define variables": Start a project from scratch and manually define variables (see Create variables).
   2. "Import data and variables from file": Import data that you already have from an Excel or CSV file (see Import data to an empty project).
   3. "Define variables later": Come back later for variable definition and import.
   4. "Start with a template": Use an existing template and select the variables you want to include (see Templates).
       
2. By choosing one of these alternatives and clicking "Continue", your project is created and will appear on your dashboard.
