View series setup

  1. Go to the "Variables" window and make sure you are using grid view.

  2. Click on the card of the Series you would like to view

Remove variable from series

Grid view

  1. Click on the card of the series 

  2. If you want to keep the variable, drag the variable out of the series' card and drop it on the variable panel. Be aware that data will be lost if a variable containing data is removed from the series. 

  3. If you do not want to keep the variable, click on the variable and select "Delete variable". Click "Delete" to confirm. Be aware that data will be lost from this variable.

Tableview

  1. Click on the arrow on the left of the series name

  2. Select the variable you would like to remove

  3. Click on the "Move" icon in the upper right part of the screen.

  4. Select whether you want to move this variable to a group ("Group"), a series ("Series"), or to the main variable window ("Main level")

  5. Click "Apply"

Delete series

  1. Click on the card of the series you want to delete

  2. Click "Delete Series" at the bottom left of the "Edit series" card

  3. Click "Delete". Note that any data for variables within the series will be lost by deleting the series, as will the variables themselves.

Tableview

  1. Select the series you want to delete

  2. Click the trashcan icon on the upper right part of the screen

  3. Click "Delete". Note that any data for variables within the series will be lost by deleting the series, as will the variables themselves.
