Entries can be sorted alphabetically (text and categorical variables), numerically (numeric variables), or by date (date/date-time variables) in the dataset window.

1. To sort entries, click the variable name in the column header in the dataset table.
2. The dataset sorts from A-Z / smallest value – to largest value in the chosen variable.
3. Click again, and the dataset sorts from Z–A /largest to smallest.
4. Click again, and the dataset will be unsorted again
