You can add and remove filters from the "Analysis" window to analyse subgroups in your dataset. The filter function in the Analysis window corresponds to filters in the Dataset window. 

Add a filter
  1. Activate the "Show filters" toggle button.

  2. Click on "+ Add new filter".

  3. Choose from the dropdown menu which of your variables you would like to filter on.

  4. For categorical variables, click on the values you want to filter. For numerical and date values, you enter the range of values you want to filter on. If an aggregation rule has been set for a series, this variable will also be available for filtering.

  5. You can combine as many filters as you like.

NB: Even if the filters tab isn’t visible, filters may be applied. If you are missing any data, check for unintentional filtering by activating the "Show Filters" toggle.

Edit a filter
  1. In the Analysis window, activate the "Show Filters" toggle button

  2. Click on the arrow on the left side of the filter card to open the filter.

  3. Make your changes. Your analyses are automatically updated.

Remove a filter
  1. In the Analysis window, activate the "Show Filters" toggle button

  2. Click the trashcan icon on the right side of the filter card (appears when hovering over the card). Your analyses are automatically updated.
